Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an experienced, licensed Architect to join our Science, Technology & Industry practice in Toledo, OH! Prior experience with science, technology, and industrial focused projects including but not limited to healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, gene-therapies, clean rooms, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, etc. is required.
Our team of talented and creative architects work closely as trusted partners with our clients throughout the design process to realize a jointly conceived vision. We offer a full range of services from preliminary planning and feasibility studies through final design and construction inspection for both full build-out, renovations and adaptive reuse projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide design guidance and technical leadership on STI projects.
- Provide consultative services and guidance to project teams as well as leadership and mentoring.
- Assist in determining scope, complexity, and planning requirements of projects.
- Participate in client meetings.
- Proactively keep clients informed, suggest next steps, and solutions.
- Establish & maintain positive relationships with co-workers and support and build others on the team and across disciplines/offices.
- Be responsive to others and share information to improve efficiency and help others achieve goals.
- Suggest new ideas and processes and stay informed of developments in the STI practice.
- Actively participate in professional conferences or other events related to area of expertise as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited university is required; Master's degree preferred.
- Licensed architect in Ohio or able to be licensed through reciprocity is required.
- 8+ years of architectural experience with the majority of time spent in science, technology & industrial focused projects.
- Solid Revit skills.
- Ability to mentor is a plus.
- Ability to work independently without a lot of direct supervision.
