Job Objective
The DM Data Visualization Specialist will support the Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO) with its core mission including the advancement of the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Data Strategy.
Responsibilities
  • Create and implement workflows into Government-provided process automation platforms and develop dashboards based on business requirements.
  • Provide support for clear, coherent, accessible, accurate, and timely data quality visualizations to all levels of USCIS to be used in decision-making.
  • Design data quality monitoring visualization dashboards that include clear design, meaningful content, and user-centric functionality.
  • Perform and use functional segmentation analysis for planning stakeholder engagement and workshops on dashboard design.
  • Support identification of data quality gaps and non-compliance with standards through visualizations.
  • Provide an integrated view of identity data in USCIS source systems to better manage adjudicative workloads, increase processing efficiencies, and enhance data quality. To support this objective, the service provider must perform the following tasks:
  • Support working groups among operational offices and information technology teams to support identity data governance and operations, address data quality issues, and to improve processing efficiencies i.e., support activities for the Advanced Analytics RNA (Relationship Network Analytics) team.
