This is a DOD SkillBridge internship opportunity with a duration of 150 days. You must be a US Military Servicememberon active duty to apply(USA, USAF, USN, USMC, USSF, USCG) .This is a military transitional program that does not provide compensation through EnerSys.
This will be onsite at our Pinellas Park, Florida location.
- Test thermal batteries and assemblies following methods, procedures, standards and sequences.
- Maintain test records and data according to procedures and engineering requirements.
- Lay out and assemble product and electronic equipment according to designs and specifications
- Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, test and maintain equipment, components, devices and systems.
- Modify product and electronic equipment by adding, removing or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams, sketches and procedures.
- Correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components
- Use hand and small power tools and various measuring and testing devices
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control devices
- Communicate well with members of engineering department and plant personnel
- Familiarity with LabVIEW and dynamic/climatic test system software
- Must be a current Active Duty Servicemember
- Must be separating from the Military in 4-12 months
- Must be able to complete the duration of the 150 days program
- Must be able to complete 40 hours per week
- Willingness to learn from others on the job
- This position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment. Therefore, expect varying working conditions.
