Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Director, the IPS Supervisor oversees the operation of the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) evidence-based Supported Employment Model. The IPS Supervisor provides outcome-based supervision to the model's Employment Support Professionals and Employment Peer Mentors to ensure the delivery of evidence-based employment services and ethical practices. Provides oversight of employment services and collaboration with behavioral health supports.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)
(a) an individual who holds a license, provisional license, or certificate issued by the governing board regulating a human service profession, including a registered nurse who is licensed to practice in the State of North Carolina by the North Carolina Board of Nursing who also has four years
of full-time accumulated experience in MH/DD/SAS with the population served:
(b) a graduate of a college or university with a Master's degree in a human service field and has one year of full-time, pre- or post-graduate degree accumulated supervised MH/DD/SAS experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional who has one year of full-time,
pre- or post-graduate degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling;
(c) a graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in a human service field and has two years of full-time, pre- or post-bachelor's degree accumulated supervised MH/DD/SAS experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional who has two years of full-
time, pre- or post-bachelor's degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling; or
(d) a graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in a field other than human services and has four years of full-time, pre-, or post-bachelor's degree accumulated supervised MH/DD/SAS experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional who has four
years of full-time, pre- or post-bachelor's degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling.

Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Work is performed within an office or community setting, and travel throughout the community is required 30% of the time for staff oversight, stakeholder meetings and conferences. Some overnight travel may be required 4-8 days per year. The employee may be visiting a variety of worksites and may occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the ServiceSource office environment is usually quiet. The noise level at worksites could be quiet, moderate, or loud.
