IBS is the worldwide Department of Defense (DoD) joint program for transporting intelligence, surveillance & reconnaissance (ISR) and targeting data to all levels of tactical and strategic operational users.

IBS provides global, 24/7, dissemination of time sensitive Indications & Warning and Force Protection data to Joint Warfighters and Collaborating Nation partners conducting military operations around the world. MEG serves a vital role in supporting the IBS Enterprise, providing continuity in skills crucial to support military operations. MEG integrates the talents and skills of team members to form an IBS Enterprise Support Services Team to provide world-class IBS customer support.
MEG provides innovative software tools, technical services, and rapid development of solutions to support end user requirements. As such our systems and products require are high level of quality and configuration management to ensure they meet and/or exceed customer expectations.

The CENTCOM Engineer position provides comprehensive support to CENTCOM with respect to all aspects of the IBS Enterprise. System support will include technical leadership in the area of IBS Enterprise health and welfare as provided through Downlink Monitoring Element (DME) and other performance observation systems. Additionally, the CENTCOM Engineer provides comprehensive management of the CENTCOM IBS information requirements and supports the IBS Enterprise Components to meet those requirements.

Support activities include, but are not limited to:
*Travel to the CENTCOM stakeholder locations to coordinate theater information management requirements and conduct IBS familiarization
*Provide expert IBS Enterprise system knowledge, to include but limited to:
*(i) Common Interactive Broadcast (CIB), (ii) IBS Network Services, (iii) Down Link Monitoring Technical Assistance, (iv) MIL-STD 6018 (Common Message Format), and (v) Bi-annual update and refresher training.
*Provide CENTCOM with persistent situation awareness of the IBS Enterprise status.
*Augment component field site representatives as needed.
*Security Clearance: MUST have a minimum of TS with SCI eligibility.
*Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) experience, plus Bachelor's Degree. Education and experience may be substituted for each other. Each year of relevant experience may be substituted for 1 year of education, and vice versa.
*Must be proficient in IBS UHF and Network system components.
*Occasional Travel may be required.
