Responsibilities

The Collateral Review Technician is responsible for the post-closing review of loan files for accuracy/completeness of signed closing documents to ensure compliance with all regulatory and Company lending guidelines. Candidates must be highly organized and process-oriented with strong attention to detail. Responsibilities include:


* Review loan files to ensure that all required documents are present and properly executed.
* Verify accuracy of loan details
* Conduct quality control by performing a thorough review of loan documents to identify any errors, discrepancies, or missing information that may require correction or clarification.
* Preparing and organizing loan documents for submission to warehouse banks, investors, government agencies, and other stakeholders as required.
* Coordinate with internal and external parties to resolve post-closing issues such as missing or incomplete documents and/or discrepancies.
* Payment and activation of Conventional MI
* Preparation of closed loan documents for imaging
* Scanning of loan files into imaging system



Qualifications

  • Experience in Mortgage, specifically Secondary Marketing
  • Experience interacting with investors & warehouse banks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
