Responsibilities

We are actively seeking an experienced Program Manager (PM) with a diverse set of program leadership skills to help drive the day-to-day programmatic activity related to the execution and successful delivery of awarded production-based business as part of Draper's Electronic Systems' production program management team. Scope of Responsibilities:

The Program Manager (PM) will lead custom microcircuit production programs as assigned within the Draper Electronics System Business Unit. The PM will be accountable for execution and on-time successful delivery of Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition production programs having a combined value of $25M+ per year.

Required Programmatic Scope:

The PM will be expected to drive the direction and provide the leadership and oversight that ensures:

    On-time delivery of program product and contractual deliverables
  • Successful transition to production of "production-ready" solutions into "mission-capable" security enabled deliverable product for the DoD
  • High buyer/sponsor satisfaction
  • Achievement of programmatic financials in support of corporate business objectives
  • Consistent adherence to production schedule, budget, specification, and quality requirements
  • Compliance with FAR, program security, and Microfab operational requirements

Critical Technical Knowledge Areas Required Include:

  • Program management experience within and knowledge of current semiconductor fabrication processes and relevant industry standards related to DoD trusted microelectronics manufacturing within clean room settings.
  • A broad understanding of the application of these technical areas to defense weapon systems is desired.
  • Program management experience within ISO9001 and AS9100 manufacturing environments highly desirable.
  • As an integral part of the greater Electronic Systems production program management team, under the oversight of the Director, the PM will drive all phases of a Florida production site and ensure execution and delivery output of that site in collaboration with the Draper lead production PM team at Cambridge, Massachusetts.
  • In collaboration with the lead PM team the PM will manage, strengthen, and grow customer relationships and support capture activities including leading proposal efforts as required and directed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 10 years DoD program management desirable.
  • Engineering or science degree desired.
  • MS or MBA degree highly preferred, however, extensive DoD program management career experience is an important factor.
  • EVM experience desirable.
  • Agile leadership experience desirable.
  • Successful candidates will have leadership experience delivering product for the DoD and an ability to manage complex projects under matrixed staff settings.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, structured thinker, and solid problem-solver skills required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and adjust/direct priorities as needed to meet all deadlines.
  • High level of independent judgment and proactivity
  • Successful candidates will be those able to drive on-time program delivery for product that must meet stringent mission assurance requirements.
  • Successful candidates will have knowledge of current microcircuit assembly processes and relevant industry standards.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or working toward certification is desired.
  • Lean Six-Sigma Blackbelt certification highly desirable.

Security Requirement: Active Secret Clearance required with ability to obtain program-specific clearance
