Responsibilities

The candidate will be a part of a cybersecurity compliance team procuring, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining internet architectures. Position supports the full lifecycle of the compliance program including orchestrating the program Plan of Action & Milestones (POAM), draft and shepherd architecture designs through the Sponsor’s Assessment & Authorization (A&A) process; procure, configure, and test site-specific architectures; organize, train, and equip Sponsor for distributed operations and maintenance.

 

Daily Duties

  • Assist sponsor with site surveys for infrastructure changes needed to install and upgrade accredited cyber systems.
  • Survey sites for resource and infrastructure changes needed to install accredited internet systems.
  • Serving as an IT Specialist performing Information Security (INFOSEC) and Security System Management duties.
  • Develop, test, and deploy remote access system components providing audit and remote management capabilities.
  • Interact with vendors to facilitate testing and integration of new technology onto the enterprise network.
  • Stay current on latest technology to assist in making recommendations on needed changes to the sponsor.
  • Provide remote installation and troubleshooting support.

Qualifications

  • TS or Higher clearance is required.
  • BS in a related discipline and 8+ years of experience or MS and 6+ years or 3 years w/ Ph.D.; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Provide technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration and testing of all components of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements elicitation, analysis, functional allocation, conducting systems requirements reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, performing technical/non-technical assessment and management as well as end-to-end flow analysis.
  • Experience architecting, testing, and supporting integration of software and tools that support cyber security operations.
  • Experience integrating multiple products into Attribute Based Access Control and integrating the system into a closed network.
  • Experience working with vendors to articulate customer needs.
  • Experience in risk management framework as it pertains to government networks.
  • Experience conducting in-depth assessments of vulnerabilities and potential impacts to current and future implementation of enterprise requirements. Ensure the organization's compliance with government regulations and directives, guaranteeing the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of government cloud security technologies.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
