Responsibilities

Private equity company-held portfolio companies face numerous challenges related to growth and profitability across industries and business functions. DHG is often asked to identify and implement process and technology solutions to strengthen performance and achieve scalability in critical functions. * Provide project management leadership to engagements focused on identifying performance improvement opportunities in the accounting and finance function and assisting clients with implementing best practice business processes
* Analyze the financial operations of the companies and identify issues that may impact EBITDA and other financial metrics
* Understand and evaluate financial and operational trends of client companies
* Lead a current state assessment of accounting and finance operations from a quantitative and qualitative standpoint
* Work with management and DHG Subject Matter Experts to identify pain points and opportunities to improve performance
* Coordinate development of performance improvement roadmap with client project team and define detailed project tasks, costs, timelines
* As appropriate, provide management and oversight to client personnel in ongoing accounting and finance transactions and guide Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Close-to-Report processes
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships/project management
* Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
* Manage multiple tasks/projects at a time
* Will travel regularly (approximately 30%)

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent required
* 3+ years of performance improvement consulting or Finance & Accounting management experience required
* Previous experience in a consulting or top 20 public accounting firm preferred
* Demonstrated career achievements and academic excellence preferred
