Job Description
The Machine Operator supports the Production process by operating and maintaining various Production machines.
  • Maintains good safety procedures while setting up and operating machines such as wave solder, select solder, automated coating, etc.
  • Performs routine adjustments and minor, daily maintenance of the machines and makes minor program adjustments, when necessary
  • Performs hand spraying of coating, when necessary
  • Works from manufacturing work instructions, layouts, process sheets, and prints
  • Utilizes computer systems for information and to track production programs
Requirements:
  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year experience with electronics manufacturing
  • Able to work second shift work hours (10% shift premium included)
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specs, charts, tables, and schedules together with the use of adjustable measuring instruments
  • Basic computer skills
  • May require handling or exposure to chemicals used in the production area
  • Successful completion of the following training programs: Component Identification; Right-to-Know; ESD; Part Installation; Moisture Sensitive Devices handling; customer-specific training requirements, as needed
  • Involves both standing and sitting during daily support initiatives; occasional lifting or moving parts/material over 60 pounds
  • Ability to obtain a US Government granted security clearance, if required
