The Machine Operator supports the Production process by operating and maintaining various Production machines.

- Maintains good safety procedures while setting up and operating machines such as wave solder, select solder, automated coating, etc.
- Performs routine adjustments and minor, daily maintenance of the machines and makes minor program adjustments, when necessary
- Performs hand spraying of coating, when necessary
- Works from manufacturing work instructions, layouts, process sheets, and prints
- Utilizes computer systems for information and to track production programs
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year experience with electronics manufacturing
- Able to work second shift work hours (10% shift premium included)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to interpret drawings, specs, charts, tables, and schedules together with the use of adjustable measuring instruments
- Basic computer skills
- May require handling or exposure to chemicals used in the production area
- Successful completion of the following training programs: Component Identification; Right-to-Know; ESD; Part Installation; Moisture Sensitive Devices handling; customer-specific training requirements, as needed
- Involves both standing and sitting during daily support initiatives; occasional lifting or moving parts/material over 60 pounds
- Ability to obtain a US Government granted security clearance, if required
