Responsibilities

*Advise and assist clients on requirements of their BSA/AML Compliance Program
*Assesses BSA/AML risk at the enterprise and/or business unit level and helps implement detection and comprehensive compliance programs

*Assist clients in performing BSA/AML internal audits of the firm's BSA/AML compliance program
*Conduct BSA/AML Risk Assessments for the purposes of assessing risks within various lines of businesses and ensuring proper controls are in place to mitigate identified risks
*Understands complex AML investigations and analysis in diversified operations

*Responsible for phases of the engagement, including execution of the project deliverables, communications with the project team

*Manages relationship with client-side project members to facilitate project fulfillment

*Exercises independent thinking skills by making decisions related to engagements to include dynamic problem solving, risk assessment, quality control, and data and information evaluation

*Identification of significant emerging issues that impact our client base

*Highly Proficient verbal and written English communication skills; ability to communicate effectively

*Professional demeanor toward duties and responsibilities, particularly with regard to independence, professional ethics, and the exercise of professional judgment

*Must be reliable and able to meet deadlines

*Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills

Qualifications
    Minimum of 3 - 4 years' experience in relevant roles (i.e., Internal Audit and BSA/AML Compliance) within the Financial Services sector, consulting firms or US Regulators to Financial Services firms, such as US BHCs or FBOs
  • BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field required
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Strong understanding of BSA, AML, Economic Sanctions, Internal Audit and Due Diligence regulatory and compliance requirements required
  • Relevant certifications (CAMS, CFE and CIA) preferred
  • Willingness to travel required
  • Knowledge of Database Software Systems preferred (i.e. SQL, Python, Microsoft Access, CRM)
