Due to continued growth, our Utility & Industrial Group is seeking a 3D Piping Designer for Tampa, FL location or Kennesaw, GA

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

• Modify and create P&IDs.
• Create 3D Piping & Equipment Models
• Modify and create General arrangements from 3D models. (Equipment layouts)
• Modify and create additional orthographic layouts from 3D models (Piping Plans, Sections & Details)
• Modify and Generate Piping Isometric drawings.
• Perform field walkdowns to gather as-built data and sketches.
• Work independently of engineers but confer with engineers and other drafters for design concept interpretation.

Required Qualifications / skills

• AS Degree with 6+ or BS degree with 2+ drafting mechanical and structural drawings.
• Must be proficient in AutoCad 2D
• Be able to use Microsoft (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• The candidate should have a general knowledge of industrial equipment such as valve types, pump types, exchangers, etc
• Ability to travel between 10-20% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client-specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies.

Must be legally eligible to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.
