Development Director - Boise

We have an excellent opportunity for a Development Director for the Boise Division.

Director, in collaboration with volunteers, is responsible for generating a net goal of $405,000 through successful execution of two major fundraising events, including the Heart Walk.

In addition to the fundraising goal, key responsibility include: identify, recruit and manage leadership volunteers to assist in obtaining corporate and community sponsorships; maintain strong relationships with volunteers and volunteer committees; and event execution.

Qualified candidates need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• minimum of 2 years successful fundraising, outside sales or marketing experience
• Ability to accomplish results through strong volunteer recruitment, training and management
• Highly effective organizational, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
• Self-Starter who can effectively work in a team environment
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007
• Willing and able to travel within local area up to 75% and to work evenings and weekends on occasion
